Use Report for harassment, scams, sexual behavior, suspected underage use, or other conduct that violates the rules.
Respect consent
Do not threaten, pressure, harass, exploit, impersonate, or record/share another person's video without their clear consent.
Use good judgment
Never send money or open suspicious links from someone you have just met. Treat requests for private information with caution.
How reporting works
The in-call Report control submits a report category and the active room reference to Chatly's server. Reports are stored for review by the platform's administrators. Do not assume a report is monitored in real time or use it as an emergency service.
When a conversation feels unsafe
- End the call or choose Next person.
- Use Report if the other participant's behavior violates the rules.
- Do not continue sharing personal information or engaging with threats.
- If you face an immediate real-world danger, contact local emergency services or a trusted person.
Guest conversations and account safety
Guest chat messages are temporary and clear when the match ends. Do not assume a stranger is who they claim to be. Use a unique password for your Chatly account and keep your sign-in credentials private.
Chatly's age prompt is a self-confirmation step, not a formal age-assurance process. The service should not be used by anyone under 18.
